High School Students Demand Quality
Trystan (L) and Conner (R)
Trystan a current student at El Camino High School in Woodland Hills is also a vital part of ABACORP’s Quality Control team. His focus is process inspection and quality part sample inspection. Through his experience at ABACORP, Trystan is hoping to learn more about the production process – how to set up machines, more about engineering, and how parts are produced in a production setting.
Trystan’s long-term goal is to be a certified welder. He’s looking forward to learning all aspects of welding. He’s currently researching programs to work toward his Associate’s Degree and eventually would like to have his own shop with his brother, building custom cars and off-road trucks.
When he isn’t hard at work, Trystan likes cars and racing. He says he’s been working on cars since before he could walk! He also enjoys motorcycles and drawing.
A current senior at Charter High School of the Arts in Van Nuys, Conner has been part of the manufacturing entrepreneurial environment since birth. Today he is an important part of the team, working as a Quality Inspector. He takes pride in his work and appreciates the opportunity it provides to learn a sense of responsibility. "By working in quality I have learned how to develop an eye for detail." "I have had the opportunity to learn more about engineering as I am still trying to decide what path to take for college".
Conner’s goals include always being productive with his time, and to learn as many new things as he can. When he’s not hard at work, Conner’s hobbies include playing drums and video games, especially Japanese rhythm games. In his future, he would definitely consider a career developing video games, music, or business.
